Bad experiences beli di Shopee

Assalamualaikum


Tadi dapat notification Shopee, ada countdown 9.9 sales... Haritu dah 7.7, 8.8 sales. 

Ini mesti continue sampailah habis December dan wallet anda menangis. Tapi, Ema tak complain sebab Ema biasa beli di Shopee. 

Important rule nak beli di Shopee or Lazada is just buying what you need.

Looking back, most of my experience was not bad. Barang murah, kadang-kadang fast delivery. Tapi, ada juga unfortunate event happened.




CASE 1Wʀᴏɴɢ ɪᴛᴇᴍ

Barang: Storage bag
From: China


Barang yang ambil masa 2 minggu untuk sampai. Ema beli in bulk untuk travelling. Bila check satu-satu, rupanya tak dapat saiz yang betul.




Ema order saiz 3S + 3M + 3L. Bila di ukur satu-satu, Ema tak  dapat saiz M. Dapat 3S + 6L. Bila chat dengan seller, tak ada response.

Is this a misfortune or fortune 🤔. 






CASE 2 | Dᴇꜰᴇᴄᴛ ɪᴛᴇᴍ

Barang: Canvas
From: China




Seller dari China, Ema tak refund sebab ambil masa yang lama untuk dapatkan canvas baru. Ema desperate nak painting. So, Ema just let it go


Ema still gunakan canvas tu, cat scenery untuk tutup kecacatan. Like a concealer.





CASE 3 | Lᴏsᴛ ɪᴛᴇᴍ

Barang: Canvas, acrylic paint
From: Puchong, Selangor


Eh. Canvas lagi. Haha. Lagi kelakarnya, seller dari Puchong hanya perlu pos ke alamat Puchong. So.. expect barang sampai the next day la kan?

Jawabnya tidak. Berhari-hari bertongkak dagu. Kenapa barang tidak sampai. Dalam sistem Shopee berstatus "To Ship" selama empat hari walhal dalam page seller pula diuar-uarkan "same order delivery for order before 1:00 pm".

First thing to do, definitely contact the seller. Alhamdulillah, seller ni responsive. Baik hati tolong checkkan.




Dan barang selamat sampai! Kalau boleh, Ema drive sahaja ke kedai ni, tapi check map dan google, physically, this store does not exist.







CASE 4 | Iᴛᴇᴍ ɴᴏᴛ ᴅᴇʟɪᴠᴇʀᴇᴅ

Barang: Necklace
From: China

Ok. Ema order 1 necklace. Ema cancel this order to add on another necklace ⁽ⁿᵃᵏ ᵈᵃᵖᵃᵗᵏᵃⁿ ᶠʳᵉᵉ ˢʰᶦᵖᵖᶦⁿᵍ ᴿᴹ¹⁵⁾

Selepas 10 hari, barang sampai. Lepas confirm "order received" dan "rate", baru perasan.... necklace satu lagi tak sampai 😅. Agaknya seller ni packed item upon my first cancelled order.


Ema contact seller:



As you can see..Ema still tak dapat barang tersebut. Dia duk asyik spam Ema dengan shipping voucher. Ema tak update dengan seller sekian lama sebab sibuk dengan hal Universiti. 

Ini pun Ema let it go dan redha sahaja sebab Ema still dapat necklace yang Ema actually nakkan untuk hadiahkan kepada orang.


Tak dapat Ema nak kasi 1 ⭐ sebab dah ter"rate" awal. Nak refund pun tak boleh sebab silap Ema tekan "Order received" tanpa check betul-betul.

Harap readers dapat elak melakukan kesilapan seperti Ema.

You can still make refund kalau nak. Since Shopee dah ada new feature, video for reviewing. Bolehla buat unboxing video sebagai bahan bukti in case kalau ada item defect. Sebab ada sesetengah seller (especially from China) tak kasi refund. Banyak songeh.

Usually Ema cari seller yang jual pada harga murah, preferable local, ramai buyers, good review+ratings, active and responsive seller etc.

So, jangan lupa bila beli di Shopee, baca detail barang di ruang description Kadang-kadang, buyer tak baca item description lepas tu salahkan seller kata barang kecil dari gambar, colour nampak lain, kenapa battery tak provide etc.

Dan baca review juga. Dalam beratus-ratus good review mungkin akan ada 2-3 ketul bad review. Try to expect you will get the same bad item as them. Seller yang baik akan bagi response to bad ratings/review. So, if you get bad item, you will have great chance for refund from responsible seller.

I have been using Shopee since 2018. Amidst these bad experiences, Ema mostly received good experiences from other sellers.

    risiko yang kita sendiri sedar dan kena terima kan?

    1. Itu antara cons beli online.
      Pembeli kena pandai selesaikan masalah, "fight or flight" with the sellers
      It's okay to share your experience.
      Sebab kadang-kadang buyers tak tahu nak refund macam mana.

  2. pernah Kai nak cancel order barang dari China sebab lambat sangat ship out tapi dia reject cancel tu. alhamdulillah last-last barang selamat sampai.

  3. klu item wrong or defect item,atie boleh terima.. tapi klu lost item,and not delivery mmg menyumpahhh sampai mati...

  5. Can't say enough how bad my experience on shopee had once been. I ordered for a cosmetic concealer and it arrived - EXPIRED. The seller didn't believe me. Even when I sent screenshots of the product (it doesn't look physically obvious), they said it's still fine. T_T never again!

    1. Expired cosmetic products are risk for skin health and has low quality.
      The seller should know this better. I guess the seller reluctant to dispose their expired stock or plain ignorant
