Impasto;

Ema suka impasto sebab it creates a 3D painting, and you can play with your sense of touch and run your fingertips onto the painting.

Ema still noob dalam impasto and 3D texture painting, So last two weeks, Ema belajar buat impasto bunga sendiri-sendiri.

materials

• Acrylic paint 
• Modelling paste
• Knife palette set
• Primed canvas 30cmx20cm 

Painting

I used a palette knife to create a rough woodlike texture at the back.

 

I have no idea how to paint this basket initially.

For basket stroke, I didn't mix acrylic with paste. 

End product!

Sejujurnya, nak buat sunflower. Tapi, rasa macam dapat bunga lain. Bila tanya orang lain ini bunga apa, Alhamdulillah, semua dapat jawab sunflower 😅. 

Ema tak puas hati, sebab brush stroke tak clean. Lepas tu tak pandai guna palette knife yang baru jenis muncung tirus tajam. Lain tekniknya bila guna knife with a round end. Last-last, baru grasp...dapatla buat bunga petal cantik kat atas canvas sebelah kiri tu...
